Climate change

A statistical analysis by Pablo Verdes of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences shows that there are anthropogenic contributions to global warming. The thick black line shows how greenhouse gas and aerosol emissions have varied over time. The thin black line, with the uncertainty shown in blue, shows Verdes’s estimation of what extra “driving force” would be required in addition to natural contributions to account for temperature records.
