Brownian motor and refrigerator

Brownian motor and refrigerator proposed by Van den Broeck and van den Broek: The rotors (yellow structures) are chiral, being right and left-handed versions of each other. They are separated by a membrane (blue region) so that each rotor can be in a bath of a different temperature. (Courtesy: Christian Van den Broeck).
