Steady-state results
Steady-state plasma fusion, which is an important step towards a fusion energy source, was recently studied by the Tore Supra team. Electron temperature oscillations were observed in the plasma centre, which are thought to be related to a predator-prey mechanism between the current distribution and local heat transport.
