Key supplier
| Coaxial Transmission Line |
| EIA coaxial transmission line and Marman-type transmission line are designed and
fabricated to exacting electrical and mechanical specifications. Optimum power
transfer for 50 OHM systems is obtained by utilizing high conductivity copper
inner conductors that are supported by electrically transparent teflon insulators. The
outer conductors are precision drawn heavy wall copper tubing. |
| Coaxial Line Elbows |
| Transmission line elbows are available with copper or aluminum outer conductors
assemblies to provide you with flexibility in system design. These elbows are
carefully fabricated to assure maximum mechanical stability and minimum VSWR
over the entire operating frequency range of the elbow. |
| Coaxial Gas Stops |
| These gas barriers or windows are fabricated to stringent electrical and mechanical
specifications to provide a low VSWR, low insertion loss and compensated gas
stop. The Teflon dielectric and 1/8" NPT-F fittings are supplied in our standard
units. Brass and aluminum stops are available. |
| Coaxial Connectors & Insulators |
| Mega Industries offers anchor connectors, anchor insulators, line insulators and one
half connectors. These units represent the latest design to assure mechanical
durability and optimum electrical performance and satisfy all EIA and quick-clamp
requirements. |
| Coaxial Adaptors to Type N |
| These quality adaptors are electrically compensated to provide minimum VSWR
over a wide range of frequencies. Unless otherwise specified, 6-1/8" and 9-3/16"
adaptors are female and 7/8", 1-5/8" and 3-1/8" adaptors are male with all type N
connectors having female connectors. Both copper/brass and aluminum are
available. |
| Coaxial Reducers |
| Mega Industries offers a broad selection of coaxial adaptors for ease in system
interfacing. Copper/brass and aluminum are available. |
| Coaxial Impedance Transformers |
| Impedance transformers are available in 1.5:1, 2:1, 3:1 and many other ratios with
bandwidths up to 10:1.These units assure accurate transformations and minimum
VSWR's commensurate with the selected bandwidth. |
| Coaxial Impedance Matchers |
| These capacitive prove tuners are utilized as high power VSWR trimmers for
coaxial transmission line networks. When located close to the point of discontinuity
they exhibit maximum bandwidth and can remove VSWR's in excess 2.0:1. For
general usage in microwave feed network these units will optimize a 1.2:1 VSWR
over a 10% bandwidth. |
| Coaxial T Junctions |
| Tee junctions are offered on all sizes of transmission line as a building block for
notching elements, branch line couplers and hybrid couplers. These units include
male connectors on tow ports and are available in both aluminum and copper. |
| Coaxial Directional Couplers |
| These compact quarter-wave loop couplers have provision for an external load
which greatly increases the power handling capacity. Standard units are available in
10 db increments from 20 db through 70 db coupling factors and many other values
are available at no additional cost. |
| Coaxial Directional Vestigial Loop Couplers |
| Vestigial loop couplers are extremely compact and provide broadband RF
measuring capabilities. The standard monitors and reflectometers exhibit a 6db/
octave response. Also available are broadband monitors covering a 3:1 bandwidth
with a coupling response of +/- 1 db and 10:1 bandwidth units with a +/- 2 db
coupling response. |
| Coaxial Hybrid Couplers |
| Mega Industries offers 3 db 90 deg air-dielectric transmission line hybrids in a
variety of configurations and bandwidths. Electrical specifications for quarter wave
units over a 10% bandwidth are as follows. Coupling: 3 db +/- 0.2 db, Isolation: 27
db minimum, VSWR: 1.08:1 maximum, Phase shift: 90 deg +/- 2 deg, Insertion
loss: less than 0.1 db. |
| Coaxial Phase Shifters |
| These phase shifters are a constant impedance design with low insertion loss, low
VSWR and virtually no WOW. Remote position indicators are standard on all
motorized units. |
| Coaxial Attenuators |
| Medium power fixed attenuators are available in ranges from 50 watts through
1000 watts at the 3 db , 6 db and 10db levels. The 500 watt and 1000 watt units
require water cooling while the lower power attenuators are air cooled. Our variable attenuator designs utilize external loads and are capable of the full average power rating of the transmission line. |
| Coaxial Filters |
| For suppression of unwanted harmonic power Mega Industries offers a
comprehensive line of reactive and absorptive filters. Typical specifications are as
follows. VSWR 1.05:1 1.15:1 Harmonic VSWR 2:1 or 2.0:1 Insertion Loss 0.1 db. 0.2 db Rejection 2nd: 40 db 25 db 3rd: 40 db 30 db 4th 40 db 25 db Many other frequency ranges and attenuation levels are available. |
| Coaxial Switches and Patch Panels |
| A variety of switching configurations are available to satisfy almost any subsystem
requirement. When infrequent switching is required, maximum economy is
achieved with the use of multiple port patch links. These links are available in
1-5/8", through 16" diameter line sized and in 3, 4, 5 or 7 port configurations. Rotary switch configurations are available for SPDT of transfer functions. These units can be operated manually or can be motorized for remote control. "Hot Break" switching is available at full transmission line power for limited bandwidth applications. |
| Coaxial Rotary Joints |
| Mega Industries offers both contacting and non-contacting rotary joints, in single
and dual channel configurations. These joints are rated at 60% of transmission line power and exhibit extremely low VSWR, WOW and insertion loss. |
| Coaxial Hangers and Hardware |
| For prototype development, laboratory use and spare parts implementation various
flanges, o-rings and hardware kits are stocked for immediate delivery. |
