FuG Elektronik GmbH develops and manufactures highly precise low- and high- voltage power supplies for scientific applications, research and development as well as for industrial applications.
Customers are located in countries all over the world.
The company is located in Rosenheim (upper Bavaria) and was founded in 1978 by Erich Fritz and Gerhard Giebichenstein. Right from the beginning, the goal was the development, production and selling of highly precise DC voltage power supply units with the requirement 'quality from Rosenheim'.
Today the FuG Elektronik GmbH belongs to the Simon Consulting Group with Dr. Hartmut Simon as owner and CEO. Managing directors are Gerhard Huber and Anton Elsasser. All of the products delivered by F.u.G. Elektronik are own developments and manufactured on the own site.
The company has approximately 70 employees, where 40% of them are working in development, construction and quality assurance. The company is certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 1994. All power supply units are corresponding to the requirements for the CE indication and marked accordingly. All equipment, which leaves the house, is tested in all functions and examined for agreement with the assured technical data. Before shipment a duration test of at least 8 hours is mandatory. The company is proud on the high reliability of the products, which can be confirmed by a lot of customers like CERN Geneva, DESY Hamburg, INFN Italy, and others.
The company is represented by local partner-companies in many countries.
Medium and High Voltage Laboratory Power Supplies: The newest development of FuG Elektronik is the MCP- / HCP- series of power supplies. They provide a lot of advantages and new features compared with previous series. The units are used in the laboratory as well as for multipurpose tasks.
Enhanced range of cassette power supplies: The well known HCE series which did include till now 7W and 35W cassettes will be extended in the beginning of 2005 with a 140W and a 350W cassette for each voltage.
Low voltage switched mode power supplies: A new series of low voltage laboratory power supplies with output power up to 5000W will be launched in 2005.
Sophisticated electron beam equipment: For the production of high quality electron beams highly regulated and lowest noise high voltage multi output sources are required. Manufacturers of flat screen displays made good experience with FuG products for this application.
