World's Fastest Laser Marking and Vector Motion Control

Cambridge Technology Components

Cambridge Technology's DC900 and DC2000 Self-Calibrating Digital State-Space servos unleash the speed of our galvos to provide marking speeds 2x to 4x over any PID servo, analog or digital! Based on comprehensive galvo models, system identification capability, system simulation and state-of-the-art DSP State-Space algorithms, the DC900 and DC2000 provide absolutely the maximum performance allowed by the laws of physics, material science and available power.

Next Generation Real Time Digital Status and Performance Monitoring, Remote Interrogation and Remote Support via Internet

Cambridge Technology Components

DC900 and DC2000 servos come equipped with real-time digital back-channel reporting to monitor dynamic attributes such as mirror position, galvo temperature, galvo voltage, galvo current, position error, galvo settled, galvo velocity, fault warnings. Static parameters such as resonant frequency, friction, torque constant, system noise and marking quality can be interrogated and the system can be operated and monitored remotely via the internet. All status reporting is digital to minimize the integration effort in implementing these functions into your system.

Advanced Ethernet-based Embedded Laser Scanning System Controller

Cambridge Technology Components

Cambridge Technology upgraded your choice for scanning system controllers by introducing the EC1000 compact, fully integrated dual system-on-a-chip (SoC) control system which is ideal for deployment into modern factory environments with distributed automation where a single host computer can supervise a factory of networked laser marking appliances. Remote Access, Remote Control, and Remote Monitoring are fully supported for tetherless operation in a distributed laser marking environment. The EC1000 open architecture allows you to use industry-standard marking software such as WinLase or your own software environment by utilizing the comprehensive API (which also supports software written for the RTC-n environment) to preserve your existing software investment.
