Laser Measurement

Gentec (open new window)

Whether you use lasers for scientific, medical or industrial applications Gentec's two new meters enable you to monitor it's performance and increase your productivity easier than ever before.

Solo 2

The Solo 2 has all the intuitive easy to use features of our established Solo meter plus:

  • New ergonomically designed package
  • Measure and capture individual pulses from single shot to 3kHz without sampling
  • 100% larger backlit display
  • Faster (20x) data transfer rate to your PC
  • 100% compatibility with our complete range of thermopile, pyroelectric, Si and Ge sensors. We challenge you to find a laser (pulsed or cw), pW to kW, nJ to kJ that this meter won't measure
  • ...and the cost is 20% lower than the Solo!

Uno

The Uno shares the same ergonomic design as the Solo 2 but has been designed for simpler measurement applications where low cost is a must.

  • Compatible with all of our power sensors (Si, Ge and thermopile)
  • Measures pW to kW
  • Large easy to read display
  • Operates from 4xAA batteries (available anywhere)
  • 650 hour battery lifetime

Spectrum Detector (open new window)

Delta Laser Energy Measurement

Low energy, high rep rate, why compromise?

Spectrum Detector Inc's Delta range of Joulemeters gives you maximum flexibility and maximum capability for measuring low laser energies:

Measure down to 50nJ (Pyroelectric) ,0.5pJ (Si or Ge) or 5fJ (InGaAs), all with excellent signal to noise.

Measure individual pulses at > 40kHz.

For operation with a PC purchase our USB module, includes apps software, for operation with an oscilloscope use our Analog module. You choose.

Optical Trap Detectors

For the first time anyone can cross calibrate their optical power meters against a reference detector for which the responsivity is determined by such fundamental constants as the charge of the electron, Planck's constant and the speed of light.

Our Optical Trap Detectors are based on concepts originally developed at the National Institute of Standards & Technology and are the first commercially available Optical Trap Detectors.

They exhibit a Quantum Efficency of > 99% and are available for both collimated (NA <0.12) and diverging sources (NA <0.24).

Spiricon (open new window)

The specialists in laser beam profiling and propagataion (M2) measurements.

Does your laser beam look like this?

Whilst your application requires it to look like this?

The answer could be to invest in one of Spiricon's easy to use, laser beam analysis systems.

Only by being able to view your lasers's intensity profile in real time with constantly updated calculations are you able to optimise your laser to produce the results you require.

Laser intensity and laser beam propagation analysis (M2) is what Spiricon specialise in, in fact it's all they do...and it's all they have been doing since 1978!

We can measure any laser, cw or pulsed, EUV to THz! We are the only supplier offering CCD based solutions for visible and near IR and our unique Pyrocam Pyroelectric camera with a spectral response from the EUV to THz!

Femtochrome

Autocorrelators

The number of ultrafast lasers used in basic research, two photon microscopy and high end materials processing continues to grow. To measure your pulsewidth the only practical way is with an Autocorrelator and Femtochrome have the widest range commercially available.

The delay generation technique is Femtochrome's unique design based on rotating parallel mirrors. The result is a large scan range, at high speed without vibration or misalignment problems.

We have nine standard models available. Whether you are operating from 410nm to 3000nm, require < 1fs resolution, > 185ps scan range, Interferometric operation, fibre coupling, a computer interface, low rep rate operation, kHz operation or the acquisition of ultra low level pulses then we have the solution for you.

New easy to use model developed for two photon microscopy!

The FR-103TPM is a palm-size Two Photon Conductivity (TPC) Interferometric Autocorrelator developed specifically for two photon microscopy. It is an easy-to-use ultrafast detector with high resolution and sensitivity.

It is suitable for pulsewidths in the 5fs - 10ps range, for rep rates >10kHz. It can be provided either for a free-space or a fiber-coupled (FC/PC or FC/APC) input.

Using it is easy, simply introduce into the beam path without disturbing your optical alignment, with the detector package replacing the sample.
