Zaber Technologies Inc. was founded in 1997 when precision motion control was typically accomplished with DC motors and encoders. In 2000 Zaber introduced the first daisy-chainable miniature linear actuator based on stepper motor technology with integrated RS232 communications and control electronics in one small package. Since then, Zaber has added over 120 products to its family of precision motion control and laboratory automation devices including linear actuators, linear slides, motorized x-y-z stages, rotation stages, motorized mirror mounts, and micro-stepping motor controllers. Zaber's extensive line of computer controlled motorized linear slides, miniature linear actuators, motorized rotary stages, motorized mirror mounts, goniometers and other devices, make automating sub-micron positioning applications quick, easy, and affordable.

Zaber's motorized linear slides, linear actuators and other products are as easy as 1-2-3 to set up. Multiple linear actuator or linear slide devices, as well as rotation stages, mirror mounts, and/or stepper motor controllers can be daisy-chained to a single serial or USB port on any computer. No additional hardware or motor controllers are required.

The easy setup facilitates a low entry-level cost without sacrificing expandability. For example, you may purchase a single motorized linear slide to automate one axis of your application, then add additional linear actuators, linear slides, rotation stages, mirror mounts, stepper motors, etc to automate more axes as your time and budget permits.
