Description
This International Seminar on Theoretical Physics & National Development is a Tribute to Professor Emeritus Alex Animalu @ 70 in
August 2008. It will be a three day fully packed event with the aim of not only celebrating Professor Animalu but also using this unique opportunity to celebrate physics in Nigeria in particular and Africa in general. A number of his friends, collaborators (past and present) and former students in the US, Europe and other countries have accepted to give invited talks. Also there will be opportunity for post-doctorate and Ph.D students presentation in line with Prof Animalu's outstanding interesting in encouraging young people.
