Presentation:

The aim of this workshop is to keep researchers working on Soft Condensed Matter Physics and Biological Systems, updated with the most recent advances in the field. Participants will follow conferences of a very high level and specialized seminars. The topics covered by the workshop are: Polymers, Gels, Colloids, Liquid-Crystals, Surfactants, Interfaces, Wetting, Adhesion, Membranes, Vesicles, Fundamental functions of Cell life, etc.

This scientific meeting will bring together theoretical as well as experimental physicists working on Biological Physics, Statistical Physics and Soft Condensed Matter.

Those interested in participating in the program are invited to send a 1-2 page extended abstract (as a plain text file) by Jully 2009, via e-mail to : soft-matter_biology@yahoo.fr

Registration fees and accommodation:

The total fees are 300 EUR by participant. These fees include full housing, breakfast and lunch, for the three days of the workshop. Participants will get a free Lecture Notes Book. The fees will be payable in cash at registration on the first day of the workshop.

Important dates:

30 Jully 2009 : Registration and abstracts reception deadline.
30 September 2009 : Notification of acceptance.
28 April 2010 : Beginning of the workshop.
