Dynamics of Printed Drops II

Printing is the art of putting small quantities of material on a surface in a patterned manner. Most often the material is deposited as a liquid. All printing methods that employ liquid inks are characterized somewhere within their process by having drops on surfaces.

After the success and high level of interest in the first "Dynamics of Printed Drops" meeting held in 2008, this meeting again seeks to bring together scientists, engineers and mathematicians working on processes relevant to the deposition, spread and collective behaviour of liquids on surfaces within the broad context of printing, in order to both discuss current progress and to foster collaboration from fundamental science through to application.
