Printing and Graphics Science Group Student Conference

This annual conference is a forum where recent work in the group’s subject areas at postgraduate level is presented. Presentations are sought on any subject related to printing and graphics technology and science. Short abstracts (approximately half an A4 page, possibly 6 references) summarising the intended presentation should be sent by email to Dr. Alan Hodgson (alan.hodgson@spsl.uk.com).
Potential topics could include but are not restricted to the physics in graphics arts technologies, printing, packaging and papermaking or new developments such as displays, lighting and printed electronics.
The conference is an opportunity to meet students from around the UK who are working in these fields, and to show research that you have recently completed or have in progress.
Abstracts should arrive by 9th September 2009.
Registration is free and funds are available to cover basic travel expenses for speakers.
The meeting is open to all, whether IOP members or not. It will be preceded by the AGM of the Printing and Graphics Science Group which will be announced separately.
