The Medium and the Message: Broadcasting, podcasting, YouTube and other ways of communicating physics

Speakers at the Physics Communicators Group Summer Meeting include: Simon Singh (writer and broadcaster), Deborah Cohen (editor, BBC Radio Science Unit) and Melisa Akdogan (TV producer). These well-known experts will give us their own personal perspectives on the broadcasting and writing media. Their views will stimulate discussion for the open sessions where we will collectively explore the wide array of different media that can be used to communicate physics. These networking and discussion sessions will be led by experienced physics communicators with the aim of discovering how to choose the most appropriate medium for communicating to different types of audiences.

Registration details and further information about the complete programme for the day and short speaker biographies can be found on the event website.

The early discount registration deadline is 8 June, with the final registration deadline being 22 June 2012.
