Modern theories of nuclear reactions

A two-week school on Nuclear Physics will be held from September 23 - October 4, 2013, at the Indian Institute of Technology – Roorkee with the theme focused on 'Modern theories of nuclear reactions'.

During the first week, courses will be presented on the basics of non-relativistic and relativistic nuclear reaction theories. The second week will be devoted to lectures on advanced topics that include:

1) Theory of transfer and breakup reactions
2) Transport theories of nuclear collisions
3) Theory of elementary reactions
4) Nuclear reactions for astrophysics
