NPL Third Cavitation User Forum

The Acoustics Group at NPL is delighted to invite you to its Third Cavitation User Forum. The NPL Cavitation User Forum focuses on applied cavitation, its characterisation and its uses. This event offers an informal platform for industry and researchers alike, in which the current state-of-the-art of cavitation research and its effects are presented and discussed.

The meeting will be held at NPL, which is the National Measurement Institute for the UK and has a world-leading position in the field of cavitation measurement.

The day will consist of invited oral presentations, poster presentations and discussions, and an optional lab tour. The organising committee invites all participants to submit a poster on one of the following cavitation-related topics:

Physical insights
Numerical modelling
Applications of cavitation to biomedicine, cleaning and advanced manufacturing
Design and management of sonoreactors
Hydrodynamic cavitation
Measurement techniques
Poster submissions must be sent in the form of a 200-word abstract to, before 12:00 noon on 15 September 2013.

A best poster competition will also be held among the student/young professional participants in the forum.
