Enrico Fermi Awards Ceremony

Presentation of the 2013 Enrico Fermi Awards

We request the pleasure of your company at the presentation of the 2013 Enrico Fermi Awards. The Fermi Award is a Presidential award and is one of the oldest and most prestigious science and technology honors bestowed by the U.S. Government. It is given to an individual or individuals of international stature in recognition of exceptional scientific, technical, engineering, and/or management achievements related to the broad missions of the U.S. Department of Energy and its programs. Energy Secretary Moniz is expected to confer the Fermi Awards.

The Fermi Award is administered on behalf of the White House by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science. For additional information on the Fermi Awards, please visit http://science.energy.gov/fermi/

The ceremony is scheduled for three o’clock on February 3, 2014 at the US Department of Energy (1000 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20585). A government-issued photo ID is required.
