NITheP Workshop on Large Deviations in Statistical Physics

This workshop is a first at organizing a meeting focused explicitly on large deviation theory and its applications in statistical physics. It will provide a perfect opportunity for physicists and mathematicians to interact and present their work on these topics, as well as discuss future challenging problems. Topics to be covered include: equilibrium large deviations, long-range systems and nonconcave entropies, nonequilibrium large deviations, interacting particle systems, fluctuation symmetries, scaling and hydrodynamic limits, and rare event simulations.
