Multi-Pixel Photon Counter (MPPC) Aug 7, 2008

The latest range of semi-conductor detectors featuring photon detection capability. The new device utilizes a Geiger-mode avalanche photodiode structure for ultra-low-level light detection and features an active area of 9mm² and is available in three pixel counts (900,3600, or 14,400).
