Tunable Semiconductor Laser for DWDM Oct 24, 2008

This product is a high specification tunable laser developed specifically for today's dwdm market. It incorporates an internal wavelength monitor which ensures a wavelength setting accuracy of +/-5pm. A tunable filter is built into the unit to remove ase noise and increase the signal to noise ratio to ten times that of conventional tunable laser designs. This feature in particular makes the laser particularly suitable for characterization of fibre Bragg grating and similar dense wdm devices.
