The Cobolt Mambo™ is a CW DPSS laser at a 594 nm and with an output power of up to 50 mW, perfectly suited for fluorescence analysis applications such as confocal microscopy and flow cytometry

The Cobolt Mambo™ is built on a robust platform with a hermetically sealed package, and features low noise (<0.5 % rms) and excellent beam quality (M2<1.1) over a wide temperature range (10-40 degC). Due to the high efficiency, the full system typically consumes less than 25 W of electrical power. The compact 594 nm solid state laser replaces HeNe lasers for use in fluorescence applications, in particular for the excitation of Alex Fluor 594, Texas Red and the new very bright gene expression proteins mCherry & mKate. Cobolt now offers a complete range of high performance DPSS lasers to the fluorescence based bioanalytical industry to replace argon and krypton ion lasers: 473 nm, 491 nm, 515 nm, 532 nm, 561 nm, and 594 nm lasers are currently available at output powers from 10 to 150 mW.
