Fixed focus can be an lower cost and more compact alternative to zoom lens. Since a fixed-focus lens requires no input from the operator, it is suitable for use in cameras and sensors designed to be less expensive, or to operate in environments where space is at a premium.

All Resolve Optics lenses provide high image resolution and minimum geometric distortion from 400 to 750nm. Resolve Optics range of fixed focus radiation tolerant lenses have been designed for use with CCTV cameras as well as Newvicon and Chalnicon tubes in a variety of nuclear monitoring applications.
