These modulized multiplexers are designed to boost optic fiber and wavelength utilization while providing trunk redundancy capabilities.
It allow significant cost reduction and higher fiber usage over a pure optical multiplexing solution.The modules aggregate two copper Ethernet data channels onto one full-duplex fiber trunk to distances of over 100 kilometers.they are with flexible gbic transceiver ports to fit ws-g5483,ws-g5484,ws-g5486 and ws-g5487,for single-mode fiber, multi-mode fiber, and copper interfaces.it is designed to boost fiber and wavelength utilization while providing trunk redundancy.
