Using V-groove technology,this product is a mechanical splice that provides an inexpensive, quick alternative to mating fibers.
It is a mechanical splice that provides an inexpensive, quick alternative to mating fibers. Using V-groove technology, this splice maintains physical contact between the fibers,without need for fiber adapters or fiber pigtails. An assembly tool is designed by the fiber optic manufacturers and fiber optic suppliers to used to ensure the fibers are mated correctly, resulting in <0.1dB insertion loss.It suit 250µm and/or 900µm fiber capabilities,used in restoration,premise environments and fiber-to-the-subscriber applications.
