The annual London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) is a two-week residential course hosted at the renowned research university, Imperial College London. Our aim is to unite outstanding students from all countries and provide a deeper insight into science (STEM) and its applications for the benefit of humankind.
This is a hybrid programme, online or on-campus.
The summer programme attracts 500 of the globe’s leading young scientists, aged 16-21 and visiting from more than 65 countries. Along with an active social calendar and a focus on cultural education and forming lasting friendships, the on-campus programme includes lectures, demonstrations from leading scientists and visits to industrial sites, research centres, scientific institutions, world-class laboratories and universities. LIYSF VIRTUAL includes 10 principal lectures along with virtual lab tour, post lecture lounges for participants to meet each other and talk about the programme, on-demand access to view content, live chat and certificate upon completing the programme.
The 2022 keynote speaker is Nobel prize winner Professor James Rothman of Yale University.
The 63rd LIYSF will be held 27 July to 10 August 2022. The participation fee is £275 per student to attend LIYSF VIRTUAL and £2395 per student for the inclusive on-campus programme, with all meals and accommodation provided. Applications are open until 31 May 2022.
