Transport in Strongly Correlated Quantum Systems
16 July — 3 August 2018 | Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil
From July 16 to August 03 the International Institute of Physics of UFRN will host the Workshop “Transport in Strongly Correlated Quantum Systems”, an international that will bring together theorists working in several promising areas of quantum transport in solid state physics.
The program will take place in Natal-RN (Brazil) and will address various open problems that arise in the study of strongly correlated systems. Topics to be covered include spin chains and quantum wires, quantum transport in cold atomic gases, open quantum systems and non-equilibrium steady states, quantum kinetic equations and applications of holographic methods.
Registration is open until June 16 online, where more information about the program, logistics as well as the main subject of the event is available.
The IIP’s event department can provide assistance to interested ones by phone at +55 (84) 3342-2249 (ext. 214 / 215) or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
