Andrea Bruck

Andrea Bruck is a former PhD student contributor to Physics World. Andrea studied electrochemistry at Stony Brook University in the US, focusing on the fundamental process that occur in a battery during its operation and how synchrotron-based characterization can elucidate the chemical processes that cause battery failure. She hopes to improve energy-storage technology, helping to decrease the world’s reliance on non-renewable resources.
