Avishma Lasrado

Avishma Lasrado is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. She is currently conducting research in the field of experimental quantum computing with a focus on superconducting qubit systems in Kuei-Lin Chiu's group at National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan. Her research is primarily focused on the characterization and manipulation of superconducting qubits, particularly transmon qubits, based on 2D and 3D materials. Beyond her academic pursuits, Avishma enjoys craft work, playing chess, trekking and being with nature.
