Benyam Dejen

Benyam Dejen is a PhD student contributor to Physics World and is in the Quantum Engineering group at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, UK. Benyam’s research focuses on developing nodes for quantum networks using cavity-coupled quantum dots and nuclear-spin quantum memories.

Previously, Benyam was in the Quantum Information group at the UK’s National Physical Laboratory, working on the metrology of single-photon detectors, sources and related devices. Benyam also helps to run the outreach effort at The Blackett Lab Family.
