José Alonso Solís Lemus is a PhD student contributor to Physics World, working in the Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering at City, University of London. His work in biomedical image analysis involves dealing with immune cell tracking, as well as shape analysis. His other interests include coding, robotics, statistics and numerical analysis. In his spare time, he enjoys running and working out, cooking, drawing/design and (casual) photography.
