Kinga Anna Szarkowska

Kinga Anna Szarkowska is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. She is a doctoral student at the University of Białystok, Poland, affiliated with the Faculty of Physics, where she works in the Laboratory of Structural Research within the Condensed Matter Physics Department. Her PhD project focuses on magnetite nanoparticles doped with rare-earth elements, with the goal of exploring their potential for wastewater treatment. Outside the lab, Kinga enjoys reading, writing poetry, drawing and walking in nature.
