Kirsty McGhee

Kirsty McGhee was a PhD student contributor to Physics World. She is now a postdoctoral researcher at Germany’s University of Leipzig and a science writer.

She did her PhD in the group of Prof. David Lidzey at the University of Sheffield, UK, working on the fabrication and characterization of organic exciton–polariton microcavities, with a particular focus on polariton condensation. In her spare time, Kirsty enjoys reading, running and exploratory cycles.
