Marion Cromb

Marion Cromb is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. Marion undertook an art foundation year at Central Saint Martins in London before completing an MSci in physics at the University of Birmingham, UK. At Birmingham their projects often focused on quantum optics, and outside of studies they contributed to the university's science magazine. They are currently undertaking a PhD in the Extreme Light Group at the University of Glasgow, UK. Their research interests are in phenomena where both quantum mechanics and general relativity come into play. In their free time, Marion likes to draw and paint, and see the latest cinema releases.
