Sabrina Reichert is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. After graduating with a BA in environmental chemistry from Columbia University, US, she is now pursuing a PhD in geosciences/geophysics at SUNY Stony Brook, US. Her research interests include mineral physics of amorphous solids, seismology and rheology. Other interests include visiting as many national parks as possible and taking care of her two pugs, Crouton and Waffles.
