JdA is a long-standing international meeting that provides a unique, informal and interdisciplinary forum for researchers working on f-electron materials. Over more than five decades, it brings together physicists, chemists and materials scientists to discuss new discoveries, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations in a friendly atmosphere.
Topics:
– Correlated 4f/5f systems: superconductivity, quantum criticality, emergent order
– Chemistry of f-elements: inorganic, organometallic, co-ordination, separations
– Materials, thin films, nanostructures and interfaces
– Crystal and electronic structures, magnetism, spectroscopy, theory
– Nuclear fuel cycle, safeguards and security
– Radiation effects, protection and medical applications
– Environment, remediation and decommissioning
