How do I get the Physics World app?

The Physics World app is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. Search for the app using "Physics World magazine" or follow these links to download it directly:


Which devices will it work on?

The Physics World app will work on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, and any Android device.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to download, but access to the magazine is restricted to members of the Institute of Physics.

Help with logging in

When you first open the app you will be asked to log in using your IOP membership username and password. You will only need to log in once; after that the app will remember your log-in details to provide you with immediate access to the magazine.

If you've forgotten your log-in details, please contact Member Services for assistance.

What if I'm not a member?

Anyone with an interest in physics can join the Institute. For instant membership visit the IOP website to find out more about the different membership packages available.

How do I get the latest issue?

Once you've logged in, the app will automatically download the latest issue by default.

You can choose under "Settings" whether to download new issues automatically. You may want to switch this off if you need to manage your data usage.

How do I send feedback?
