Francis Halzen wins Nobel Prize in Physics

Francis Halzen wins the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on detecting high-energy cosmic neutrinos using the IceCube Neutrino Observatory at the South Pole.

The prize will be awarded in Stockholm on 10 December and is worth SEK 12 million (about $1.2 million).
