Cynthia E Keen

Cynthia E Keen is a contributing editor for Physics World, specializing in medical physics. Cynthia started in 2016 writing for Physics World’s former sister website medicalphysicsweb. Her career promoting sea-change medical innovation began in 1982, when she joined Colorado Video to promote the first commercial teleradiology and telemedicine systems. She subsequently worked for Eastman Kodak Company’s Electronic Photography Division as it was developing digital photography, and for Siemens Gammasonics on the team marketing the first commercial hospital PACS. As a consultant, Cynthia focused on strategic market analysis, product marketing and end-user implementation of medical communications devices and software, ultimately morphing into medical journalism in numerous fields. She has a BA from Bates College in Maine and an MBA in finance from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
