Lisa Tse

Lisa Tse is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. She is currently undertaking her PhD at University College London (UCL), UK, where she researches machine-learning algorithms with quantum-inspired approaches. Her PhD focuses on the problem of matrix completion, where the aim is to fill in the missing entries of a matrix under specific constraints. In the past, she has worked on deep learning and computer vision at Siemens Healthineers. She obtained her undergraduate degree at UCL in physics with physical chemistry. In her free time, she likes to read anything from dystopian to wuxia novels and scour the world for good food.
