Rebecca Fong is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. Rebecca is working as part of the CDT in soft matter and functional interfaces at Durham University, UK, under the supervision of Richard Thompson. Her research involves studying the segregation and migration of small molecules in thin polymer films. Outside of science, Rebecca enjoys hillwalking, playing the oboe and sewing.
