Whitney Perez

Whitney Perez is a former PhD student contributor to Physics World and PhD candidate in the medical physics programme at Purdue University, US. Her research focused on the replication and characterization of radiation-induced brain injury, a side effect of cranial radiotherapy, using a paediatric mini-pig model. Whitney is also interested in making science education more accessible, engaging and meaningful to the public.
