Liz Kalaugher

Liz Kalaugher is a freelance science journalist.

Liz was editor of environment and energy at Physics World from 2018 to 2019 and was previously editor of the website Environmentalresearchweb. After an MA in materials science from the University of Oxford, she completed a PhD in thin-film diamond at the University of Bristol, UK. In 2017 she co-authored a popular science book, Furry Logic: the Physics of Animal Life, with IOP Publishing colleague Matin Durrani.
