Martijn Boerkamp

Martijn Boerkamp is a freelance contributor from the Netherlands who earned his PhD in physics from the University of New England in Australia. He started his freelance writing career after completing the science journalism course from SCW in the Netherlands. He frequently writes about physics and technology within topics such as quantum, space and optics for various media, including the Dutch physics magazine NTvN, KIJK, C2W and Bits & Chips. Martijn also writes the Cool Science blog. Apart from writing, he is a co-founder and CTO of the deep-tech start-up company inPhocal, which develops ultrafast laser marking systems.
