I am an online editor for Physics World. I write and commission news and research articles, in particular for the medical physics and the biophysics and bioengineering sections of the website. I completed a BSc in physics, followed by a PhD in molecular physics, at Leeds University, and then spent a few years working as a postdoc in the university's medical physics department. I joined IOP Publishing in 1999, and in 2008 I became editor of the website medicalphysicsweb - now part of Physics World. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, as well as singing and dancing in musical theatre productions.
