Math Meets Music: The Surprising Symmetry of String Theory and Schoenberg - Free Live Webcast

Dr. S. James Gates Jr. will be speaking as part of Perimeter Institute’s Public Lecture Series presented by Sun Life Financial on June 4, 2014 at 7:00 pm ET.

Though it has driven a great deal of research over the past several decades, the concept of supersymmetry still has many unresolved questions. This lecture will describe how these questions can lead one down a surprising path: toward the music of Austrian composer Arnold Schoenberg.

This event will be available as a free, live webcast that can be accessed on the Institute's website. You can also register to receive an email reminder to tune in at
