Katie Fegan

Katie Fegan is a former PhD student contributor to Physics World. Having obtained her MChem degree from the University of Leicester, UK, she pursued her PhD under the Physical Sciences for Health Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Birmingham, UK. Her research explored the mechanical and biological responses of a class of biomaterials called cryogels, assessing their potential for 3D-printed cardiovascular implants.
